The Value of a Soul

Do you ever wonder what happens after a person dies? Do you know the cost of a soul? Do you know the true value of a soul? One thing everyone has in common “We all have only one soul” One thing is for certain and that’s we all have an appointment with death. The Bible teaches us Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” The truth, the fact is there is an after life, hell or Heaven. The best news is we all have the opportunity to get it right. The other truth is we all only have one shot at it. No do overs, no going back, it is vital we all get it right the first and only time. That’s the very purpose of this blog, to urge everyone who reads this about the value of a soul. Not the cost but the very value of a soul. Many of us seem to have life figured out as they go from day to day without giving the thought of “Where will I spend eternity?” John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” God doesn’t send anyone to hell, it’s the individual that sends himself to hell by living a life disregarding Jesus as their savior and embracing this World over the Holy standards of God. God’s plan for man was to serve Him and live forever. Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live! Ending this short blog I ask YOU the reader “Where will your soul spend eternity?” Will you spend eternity in the presence of the Lord in Heaven or will you spend eternity in hell totally away from the presence of God? The bottom line is there are no do overs or second chances. Every day you and I live is another opportunity to get this right. Matthew 10:39 states, “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it”. This is one of the most powerful verses Luke 16:31 “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” This means: Even if a man came back from the dead (gave his life and returned), they still would not repent. I end this blog by inviting YOU to make the most important decision of your life right now and accept Jesus into your life and ask Him to reveal himself in your life. Your very soul is at stake!!!
