God bless you all this day we all have been blessed with by the mercy & grace of the Lord. I want to ask you a question today.

“Remember that day when you questioned the situation you were in?”

You wondered if you would ever get out of it. You hoped that things would change for the better, but that seemed impossible. Life seemed unfair, your health wasn’t getting any better, your marriage was looking like it wasn’t meant to be…

Well, guess what? I also have been there, and I’m sure everyone has.

What really matters in life is how we handle those situations that seem to drag the life out of us, where God seems so distant, with no hope in sight no matter what we try.

Well, sometimes things happen in life that are meant for us to go through. Just as when the disciples were on the boat and the sea started to rage. They were scared, afraid of the storm they found themselves in.

But just think, moments before the storm, they were with Jesus and witnessed Him feed the multitudes with very little. And just as we do today, we are affected by current circumstances but forget what the Lord has brought us out of before.

Our faith is affected when storms or situations arise in life. Peter, in this situation, called out to Jesus and asked Him to call unto him, but at the same time, he questioned if it was really Jesus. He questioned if Jesus was in the midst of the storm with him, just as we do.

Read the following and see how Peter was affected, and I am sure you can also relate to this event:

Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

So He said, “Come.”

And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

Jesus encourages…

You see, Peter was able to walk on the water, a substance that was not meant for man to walk on. Not by his own might or power, but by having faith and realizing the Lord was indeed in the midst of his situation!

Be encouraged today, Jesus is with you… You are not alone in your storm or situation. You too will be able to walk on and through what others may see as impossible.

I’m Not Selling Out

To God be all the glory, we have been blessed with another day by the mercy and grace of the Lord. Today I would like to share with you all a word from the Lord and His Holy scriptures. A word of obedience and a word of encouragement.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were three Hebrew youths who famously refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s 90-foot golden statue in Babylon. Their defiance, rooted in faith to worship only God, led to them being thrown into a fiery furnace heated seven times hotter than normal. They survived unharmed and were promoted.

This Blog serves as a reminder to us all about “Not Selling Out” Not compromising our salvation for anyone or anything. No matter the reward this World offers us it cannot compare to what awaits us in the presence of the Lord. Beloved reader I want to encourage you today to keep faithful in this walk, at times it gets very hard, at times we feel weak. But remember that the flesh is weak but the spirit is able.

Key Aspects of the Story (Daniel 3):

The Command: King Nebuchadnezzar commanded all officials to bow down and worship a massive golden image he set up on the plain of Dura.
The Refusal: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (also known by their Hebrew names Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah) refused to worship the image, directly disobeying the king’s decree
The Defiant Response: The men told the king that their God was able to save them, but even if He did not, they would still not serve the king’s gods or bow to the statue.
The Miracle: They were cast into the fiery furnace, but the king witnessed four men walking in the fire unharmed, the fourth being like “the Son of God”.
The Outcome: The three men emerged with not even their clothes scorched, leading Nebuchadnezzar to bless their God and promote them in Babylon.

Mercy

God bless you all, and welcome to another blog.

This blog is entitled “Mercy.” I had to think really hard to come up with both a title and a topic for this month’s blog. This is more than just a blog to me. I don’t want to write about what I feel I should write about; rather, I want to write what God leads me to write, because He knows what is needed in our lives and what we all need to hear.

So today, I present to you the unconditional mercy of Jesus.

It all started in the Garden of Eden, when humanity decided to turn their backs on God. Yet, He did not give up on mankind. He, being God—full of grace and mercy—continued to reason and speak with Adam and Eve, just as He does with us today.

If you haven’t realized it yet, He approached you at your lowest point—the point where you were living a sinful life, completely according to your own desires and against His will and standards. That is real mercy, a kind of mercy that man will never perfect. Man will let you down—sometimes unintentionally and sometimes intentionally. It’s unfortunate, but it’s very true.

Scripture says in Isaiah 30:18:
“Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore He exalts Himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.”

This world does not know mercy the way God does. He overlooks our faults while man magnifies them. The Lord throws our sins into the depths of the ocean, while some people try to fish them back out. Again, that’s unfortunate—but very true.

Even in His final moments, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” That is a level of mercy we will never truly comprehend.

Sometimes we feel as if we’ve done too much, as if we’ve reached a limit where God will never forgive us. I want to tell you plainly: that is a lie of the devil. God’s mercy is always within your reach—it’s up to you to accept it.

The Bible speaks of God as the potter and us as the clay. Read Jeremiah 18 and see how, no matter how the clay tries to form itself, or even if it falls out of the potter’s hands, the potter picks up those broken pieces and continues to mold them into what he sees as best. He does not throw the clay away. He does not give up on it.

That’s how God sees us. He always sees what we can become. He sees what no other person can see.

Remember, the mercy of God is sufficient for you and for me. Man may give up on you. Your mother or father may give up on you. Your wife, your husband, or other loved ones may give up on you—but God will NEVER give up on you, and God will NEVER walk away from you.

No Matter The Storm

Praise the Lord and God bless each and everyone of you this New Years day. To God be all the glory. This day I want to speak about “No Matter The Storm” Now if there’s anything we all have in common is “a storm” or better known as “hard times” A job situation, family, friends, finances, situations that leave you questioning everything and everyone, and some times life itself. I want to share with you the story of 3 youth that refused to give in to the demand of the King. Daniel 3:16-30 The “3 youth in the fire” are Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Hebrew men in the biblical Book of Daniel who refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s giant gold statue, choosing God over the king, The fire was so hot that the flames killed the strong soldiers. They were killed when they went close to the fire to throw in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell into the fire. They were tied up very tightly. Then King Nebuchadnezzar jumped to his feet. He was very surprised and he asked his advisors, “We tied only three men, and we threw only three men into the fire. Is that right?” His advisors said, “Yes, King.” The king said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire. They are not tied up and they are not burned. The fourth man looks like an angel.” Then Nebuchadnezzar went to the opening of the hot furnace. He shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, come out! Servants of the Most High God, come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire. When they came out, the satraps, prefects, governors, and royal advisors crowded around them. They could see that the fire had not burned Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Their bodies were not burned at all. Their hair was not burned, and their robes were not burned. They didn’t even smell as if they had been near fire. Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Their God has sent his angel and saved his servants from the fire! Listen YOU the reader, I want to encourage you that your situation may seem unfair or impossible to be repaired but just as those three youth were in the middle of the fire just as you are right now, it wasn’t them that saw Jesus in the fire with them. It was the king’s servants that saw Jesus in the midst of the men. I want you to understand the fire you are going through is only for God to be glorified no matter how hot it may get, Jesus is with YOU! And when it is all said and done He will get all the glory. And you will not be damaged or affected by the fire you was once in. I pray the word of God ministered to your life just as much as it did me. To God be all the glory! God bless you all. The Value of a Soul

Do you ever wonder what happens after a person dies? Do you know the cost of a soul? Do you know the true value of a soul? One thing everyone has in common “We all have only one soul” One thing is for certain and that’s we all have an appointment with death. The Bible teaches us Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” The truth, the fact is there is an after life, hell or Heaven. The best news is we all have the opportunity to get it right. The other truth is we all only have one shot at it. No do overs, no going back, it is vital we all get it right the first and only time. That’s the very purpose of this blog, to urge everyone who reads this about the value of a soul. Not the cost but the very value of a soul. Many of us seem to have life figured out as they go from day to day without giving the thought of “Where will I spend eternity?” John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” God doesn’t send anyone to hell, it’s the individual that sends himself to hell by living a life disregarding Jesus as their savior and embracing this World over the Holy standards of God. God’s plan for man was to serve Him and live forever. Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live! Ending this short blog I ask YOU the reader “Where will your soul spend eternity?” Will you spend eternity in the presence of the Lord in Heaven or will you spend eternity in hell totally away from the presence of God? The bottom line is there are no do overs or second chances. Every day you and I live is another opportunity to get this right. Matthew 10:39 states, “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it”. This is one of the most powerful verses Luke 16:31 “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” This means: Even if a man came back from the dead (gave his life and returned), they still would not repent. I end this blog by inviting YOU to make the most important decision of your life right now and accept Jesus into your life and ask Him to reveal himself in your life. Your very soul is at stake!!!
